It has begun
And I'm having so mutch fun!
06/26/2008
So, as I’m writing right now, I’m in a car on my way to the building where there’s internet. The first day is over, and we just left all the participants and some staff at “ongaku no mori”, where they live. Myself, and Cody are as productionstaff staying behind in the house to work on preparations for the arigatou evento. First presentationday is tomorrow. I’m exighted and scared.
This day has been so mutch fun. The participants seem nice, and very interested in the culture. Some of them speak better japanese than me. At the same time, we all support eachother already on that field. Really nice.
So I’m getting along good with everyone.
But this mean that they will respect me when rules start to get questioned and I need people to sing and dance up on stage?
This is where the difference between staff and participant can get painfully clear.
Only time will show, but I truly hope and believe it will work out.
It sucks that I had to leave early today, whilst the participants and (atleast parts of) the remaining staff is playing cards and just hanging out.-getting to know eachother. We never did this on my tour, we went straight to the host familiyes.
LOT TO DO, for some reason my update got cancelled, and I don't have enough time to re-write.
I will update later!
Host family tomorrow!
Arigatou eventou prep!
Very little sleep!
Funfunfun!
